RoboCop: Rogue City - OCP Headquarters

RoboCop: Rogue City - a game developed by Teyon, where I had the privilege of serving as the Lead Environment Artist. In this role, I led a talented team of artists and played a pivotal role in shaping the visual and technical aspects of the game.

Our journey began at the dawn of Unreal Engine 5, making this project a thrilling adventure of experimentation and discovery. We embraced the cutting-edge technology, pushing the boundaries of what was possible in the gaming world. This meant mastering new tools and techniques, ensuring that the game would take full advantage of the engine's capabilities.

One of my primary responsibilities was to create a streamlined and efficient pipeline, enabling our team to work cohesively and deliver assets of the highest quality. I also designed a robust material system that allowed for a rich and immersive environment, bringing the world of RoboCop to life with stunning realism.

Optimization was a key focus throughout the project, as we aimed to ensure that "RoboCop: Rogue City" would run smoothly on both PC and consoles. I'm proud to say that we successfully achieved a high level of optimization without sacrificing the quality and detail that the game deserves.

In addition to my role as a Lead Environment Artist, I lent my expertise to the lighting department. The challenge was to create a visually compelling environment within the constraints of a double A (AA) budget. This demanded resourcefulness and creative problem-solving. My team and I managed to craft a world that immerses players in the gritty, futuristic cityscape of RoboCop, despite the limitations.

Working with this dedicated and talented team was a truly enriching experience. We faced challenges head-on, learned from each other, and ultimately created something we're immensely proud of. It was a privilege to collaborate with individuals who shared the same passion for the project and were willing to go the extra mile to ensure its success.
